Toplin & Associates, Inc., a Fort Washington-based public relations, marketing and advertising firm, was recently named one of the region’s Best Places to Work by the Philadelphia Business Journal, placing among the top 10 companies, with less than 100 employees, ranked in the greater Philadelphia region.

Sponsored by the Philadelphia Business Journal, The Best Places to Work survey was conducted by Quantum Market Research (QMR). Employees nominated their organizations and completed an online survey on team effectiveness, trust of coworkers, organizational alignment with personal professional goals, trust in organizational leadership, employee benefits and perks, corporate culture and more. QMR permitted only organizations with survey result confidence levels of 95% or higher to proceed to the finals. Of 156 nominated organizations, only 42 small companies and 18 large companies had the qualifying confidence levels. Among them, 40 finalist organizations—25 small companies with 100 or fewer employees and 15 large companies with 101 or more employees—were named the 2004 Best Places to Work by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
